Event Description:

A short film  informed by nature, movement and sound, *Fantasy in Terms of Liberation*  visual album is equal parts imagery and audio. The film features an original score to accompany the striking visuals. The live show goes a step further - performance art and live original musical compositions accompany the entirety of the film. Immersive installations beckon you into the minds of the creators. Leaving you awe-struck performances by Baptiste Aka PCP have been long awaited after the 3 year hiatus. We invite attendees to explore and soften the edge of their reality through the lens of the artist. At times moody, orchestral and stripped bare with an unconventional expression that ignites curiosity. Truly playing with form together, Baptiste and producer Neill Von Tally crafted a varied soundtrack to match the tones, settings and themes of the short film.

Film Summary:

Opening in the stark setting of a pitch black room, the film *Fantasy in Terms of Liberation* introduces viewers to an unnamed protagonist writhing alone, bound by chains and struggling to  break free. Over the course of three acts, viewers watch as she succeeds before going on to  commune with nature across the awe-inspiring natural setting of the Oregon coast, from  formidable rock formations to trawling towering sand dunes and discovering an oasis in the expanse. The natural settings are incongruence with our inner worlds and emotional landscapes using dance to signify freedom of the body.  The overarching premise of *Fantasy in Terms of Liberation* is that of personal integration.
