  • Projection

We have up to three video projectors available for visual effect, film/video screenings, or presentations. We also have a couple options for screens if needed. Please ask our venue manager about fees for projectors and screens, and contact our technical director at least a week in advance of your show to discuss logistics. We do not stream projections from YouTube or any online source as these may be unreliable and prone to advertisements, so please prepare your video as an m4v or MOV file.

  • Recording

At Alberta Abbey, we offer the service of recording your performance in both audio and video format. We can capture the essence of your performance with multitrack audio recordings, which are available at a cost of $75 for a solo acoustic set and $100 for a

full band set. We also offer single-camera video recording along with multitrack audio for $200. Multitrack recordings give you the most flexibility to tailor the sound. You can choose to mix the multitrack recording yourself or opt for music producer SeanFlora to mix it for you.

Please make your request for recording at least 5 days prior to your show.

  • Playback

If you have prerecorded audio tracks to play back, please have them loaded onto your own device (that is not a phone) or onto a USB thumb drive. We do not play back tracks from YouTube, Spotify, SoundCloud, etc as part of the performance, as these are unreliable and prone to playing commercials. We can receive input signals from 3.5mm, RCA, XLR, and ¼” outputs. In the case of multichannel outputs from, for example, an Ableton session, just let us know how many outputs, and we’ve got you covered.

  • Power

Our stage has up to 9 unique 20A circuits available for powered instruments, accessories, and additional production assets. Extension cables and power strips are provided for additional set up flexibility.

  • Stage

The 36’x21’ stage can accommodate acts as large as 20 people. Free-standing pipe-and-drape sections (14’H x 10’W) are available to provide more intimate space for smaller acts.
