We have hosted a wide variety of events and have different rooms available to suit different needs.
Our theater boasts a total capacity of around 500 persons with a full stage, sound system, and some lighting available. This room has served as a home for concerts, fundraisers, theatrical performances, dance concerts, and a multitude of other events. It offers abundant seating and accessible entry for wheelchairs and other mobility devices.
Our ballroom is located on the lower level of the Alberta Abbey. This historic room offers a full dance floor and raised stage and has been used for DJ events, yoga classes, rehearsals, dance events with a live band, and many other uses. The floor can be kept open or filled with tables and chairs to offer flexibility in the space to those renting it.
Our café is a smaller, fully updated room with tables and chairs. Typically serving as the concessions area for the building, this room features a bar to serve food and drink as well as tables and chairs. A small sound system can be provided for those events interested in a more intimate performing space. This room is perfect for small summer camp and activity groups looking for a space to host their meetups and has hosted arts and crafts groups before.
