Goodnight House is the musical outlet of Portland, OR's Joel Lane. Over lush and varied musical backdrops evoking emotion-forward artists including Sufjan Stevens, Pinegrove, and Smashing Pumpkins, Lane articulates detailed stories of transition, relationships, mental illness, and empathy. Lane's sense of melody is the unifying element over a diverse, bordering on dizzying, array of aesthetic flavors, one minute evoking the raucous distortion of Hum, the next minute whispering confessions over fingerpicked acoustic guitar a la Mark Kozelek, then instantly transitioning into Pavement-esque garage rock or Wilco-indebted alt-country.

Goodnight House is fresh off the release of their acclaimed LP, Rupture / Repair. The record finds founding member Joel Lane contemplating the role of relationships in surviving the brink of despair from a world ravaged by sociopolitical divide, climate change, and other traumas. Over bouncing indie rock structures that nod to shoegaze, midwest emo, and alt-country, Lane's lyrics chronicle a gamut of emotions ranging from humor to sadness, anger to love, and regret to empowerment. These themes are brought to life during the five-piece Goodnight House's live performances. Lane is joined by bassist Matt Mitchell (Twin Ultra), drummer Marshall Fosler (ParadigmShift), guitarist Andy Treister, and vocalist/percussionist Megan Lane. Goodnight House shows are known for their wash of shoegazey guitars, intricate arrangements, soaring vocals, and emotional catharsis.

Sneaker Wave is an indie rock band hailing originally from a basement in Portland, Oregon - a project blending a modern surf and psych sound with references to 80’s jangle pop and contemporary dream pop.

The band’s name, itself a reference to a natural phenomenon common on the rainy coast of the Pacific Northwest, pays homage to the influence of the city and region which the band calls home.

Breezy formed in 2018 in Portland, Oregon after Jay Robichaux saw Leandro Barrientos on the Clackamas river, just moments after Leo caught his first winter steelhead. Jay then found Leandro on Facebook. The two began messaging and met up the following week to jam, and a band forged out of a love of fishing and the outdoors began. Jay had been writing and playing with drummer Nick Mentillo since 2014. Not a newcomer to the Portland Music Scene, Nick has a history performing with bands like The Charlie Darwins and Marlette. Jay invited Leandro Barrientos and brother Niki Barrientos to play with Nick at his home studio. That first night the band wrote two songs, and cemented a style of improvisation and musical conversation that has informed their music ever since.

Self-identified as an “alternative jam band,” Breezy draws musical influence from a vast variety of traditions and heritage. Niki and Leandro, having grown up together in a bicultural household, are informed by the American songbook with bands like The Beach Boys and Wilco, but are also infused with rhythms from their South American and Pacific-Island (Filipino) heritage. Nick Mentillo, an academically trained percussionist, draws heavily from The Mars Volta, Wilco, and early 90’s alt-pop. Jay, with a rich history in the Cajun musical traditions, blends his love of 80s hardcore, punk, and New Orleans style jazz fusion. Newest Breezy member and virtuosic multi-instrumentalist Will Traylor brings an eclectic and rich mix of sonic influences including Leon Russell, Steely Dan, The Grateful Dead, as well as a background in jazz and fusion. The result is a sonic amalgam of rich musical histories informed by psychedelic free-form jamming.

Breezy is:

Leandro Barrientos: guitar and lead vocals

Nick Mentillo: percussion, drums

Jay Robichaux: bass guitar

Will Traylor: lead guitar
