Host: Tashon Lueders
Born in Arizona, Nebraskan raised Queer, Non-binary Transmasculine spoken word artist Tashon Lueders (they/them/theirs) moved to Portland, OR during Fall of 2020. They were introduced to spoken word and slam poetry when attending Central High School, but took a hiatus shortly after graduating. Nearly a decade later, they've picked up their pen (and the mic) again after their recent gender affirmation, sharing their story and love of poetry on virtual platforms, speaking at company events, and reading at local Portland open mics. A former Nebraska Nitehawk and forever pizza lover with a fondness for hats, their words are inspired by their gender, trans-lived experience, spirituality, matters of family, heart, and Self.
