BOTTLENECK BLUES BAND

Bottleneck Blues Band was founded 14 years ago by Noah Bell and David Cushman.

They had two main objectives at the time: play the blues and perform at the Waterfront Blues Festival, both of which they did. The group is composed of veteran players including Noah Bell on guitar and lead vocals, Don Worth on drums, Joseph Conrad on bass and Rich Landar on keyboards.

“In the beginning we followed the three Kings. We wanted to learn from the masters. During the following decade we have done that and more.” --Noah Bell

In 2015 Bottleneck Blues Band was named Best New Blues Band by the Cascade Blues Association and nominated for Best CD of the Year Award. The Band has played all over Oregon, Washington and Idaho doing shows both big and small. Bottleneck Blues Band has headlined, opened and shared the stage in some of the biggest Festivals in the region, including the Waterfront Blues Festival, The Vancouver Wine and Jazz Festival, Vancouver Fireworks in the Fort, The Gorge Blues Festival, Peninsula Blues Festival, The Taste of Tacoma, The Crawdad Festival, Canby Beer Festival, and The Craft Beer and Wine Festival. The Band also has a rotation of great clubs that they have performed in over the years, including The Blue Diamond, The River City Saloon, McMenamins Edgefield, The Grand Lodge, The Kennedy School, Trails End, Wild Hare Saloon, The Garages, The Vinyl Tap,The Skyway, Northwood Brewery, Everybody's Brewing and the Cascadia Brothers Brewing Co. The band is working on releasing their third CD "Live Serenity" recorded at the Serenity Mountain Music Festival and has their eye on getting back in the studio for another recording project soon. In the beginning Bottleneck described it's music as red hot funky blues but now they refer to it simply as Dance Blues.
