On October 21, Low Bar Chorale invites you to celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Big Lebowski with a singalong battle royale of The Dude's most loved and hated bands (just like, his opinion, man.) We'll sing some of the greatest Eagles and Creedence hits. Some fantastic 3-part harmonies in there, and we'll learn them as part of the show! We'll also have video projections, special guests, a costume contest, scene reenactments from the movie, and of course a trivia competition. Will you be Team Walter, Team Donny, Team Lebowski, or Team Jesus? However you choose, a peaceful easy feeling is guaranteed.
SCHOOL OF ROCK
School of Rock Portland is a performance-based music school for kids age 6-18 and adults, too. We are located on SE Hawthorne Blvd. Since 2006, we have been training Portland’s next generation of rock and roll stars. We believe the stage is the greatest teacher for building life skills like confidence, commitment, and teamwork.
Our House Band, which represents the best of our students, plays throughout the city at numerous street festivals and community events. Our students must audition to be selected for the exclusive House Band, which performs a mix of great rock songs from a variety of eras and styles.
