Born in Virginia, and inspired by his southern black heritage, Tevis began playing blues at the age of 12 years old, though he first started guitar at the age of six. With a deep love for Black American music, Tevis is compelled to bring the traditions of his heritage to life.
Well versed in multiple blues idioms such as the Piedmont, Delta, Texas, urban and country blues styles, He also dips into jazz, jug band, folk and even old timey novelty tunes. Tevis Hodge Jr's repertoire is an eclectic mix while his performance oozes with originality and passion. Adding his own flare to the songs he covers, he seamlessly presents originals that can mingle with the classics and stay true to the source.
At the age of 13 Tevis started to gravitate to performing at school events, open mics, and on the street. With a considerable amount of experience for his age, Tevis has enjoyed a career opening for acts ranging from Robert Cray to Living Colour, and performing onstage with such acts as Peter Yarrow (of Peter, Paul & Mary,) vaudeville legend Baby Gramps, "Boogie-Cat" Norman Sylvester, guitar virtuoso Mary Flower and soul extraordinaire Ural Thomas to name a few. Tevis placed as a solo semi-finalist in the 2014 International Blues Challenge, and has had great reception at festivals, fairs, markets, clubs, vineyards and venues alike.

Ms. Vee ( Valyria Lewis) Singer, Musician, Writer, and Comedienne; 2021 Band & 2019 Solo Granite State Blues Challenge Winner & International Blues Challenge Semifinalist: Ms. Vee was born and raised in Forrest City Arkansas. At the age of 10, Ms. Vee began her musical journey as a piano student at Lorenzo's School of Contemporary Music in Forrest City Arkansas. Founded by Lorenzo Smith and Jackie Toney Smith. Quickly realizing her ear for music, Lorenzo added Ms. Vee to his blues/jazz band at just 10 years old. She continued her professional career in music, serving as Minister of Music for several East Arkansas Churches. Ms. Vee later went on to pursue a solo career in music and later comedy. As a result, Ms Vee's style of Soul Blues is infused with black southern gospel and a lot of soul! In 2018, Ms Vee launched her own music project, founding Ms Vee and a Badass Band.\

Award-winning vocalist, instrumentalist and songwriter Curtis Salgado, the man NPR calls “an icon” with “a huge voice,” is revered worldwide for his ability to wring every ounce of soul out of every song he performs. Salgado is famed not only for his powerhouse live shows and ten previous albums, but also for his passionate and insightful original songs. He has been nominated three times for the Blues Music Award for Song Of The Year, winning in 2018 for Walk A Mile In My Blues from The Beautiful Lowdown. In total, he has won eleven Blues Music Awards, including the B.B. King Entertainer Of The Year. DownBeat calls his songwriting skills “an impressive gift.” Billboard says Salgado’s music is “inspired and powerful.” Now, Salgado is back with Damage Control, his first full band album in four years, and it’s packed with fresh, original material.
